What we need on site

Mobile detailing happens wherever your car is parked, but a few things make the appointment go smoothly:

Detailing for New Orleans conditions

A car in New Orleans takes a different beating than a car in Denver, and the work should reflect that.

Humidity and interior mildew. Gulf humidity keeps carpets and upholstery damp long after a spill or a rainy window. Steam disinfection and deep fabric extraction pull moisture out rather than sealing it in, which is what causes that musty smell that air freshener never quite fixes.

Oak pollen. Uptown's live oaks drop pollen and sap through spring. Sap is acidic and etches clear coat if it sits. Wax after a proper decontamination gives the paint a sacrificial layer to take that hit instead.

Lovebug season. Twice a year, and the residue is acidic enough to mark paint within days in direct sun. Prompt removal matters more than technique.

Parade season. Beads, confetti, spilled drinks and foot traffic leave a specific kind of mess — sticky, ground-in, and concentrated in the footwells. Deep extraction handles what a vacuum won't.

Street parking. Cars that live outdoors full-time accumulate everything above at once, which is why we recommend a more frequent cadence for them than for a garage-kept vehicle.

How booking works

  1. Book online through our scheduling page or call (504) 474-8662. We're open daily, with evening and weekend slots, and same-day appointments are often available.
  2. Tell us your neighborhood and where the car will be parked.
  3. We arrive and work on site. Most details take about an hour and a half. If the weather turns, we'll reschedule you for the next available slot — no charge, no hassle.
  4. You inspect before we leave. If something isn't right, we fix it — that's what the satisfaction guarantee means in practice.

Frequently asked questions

How much does mobile car detailing cost in New Orleans? Our packages run $150 to $300. A Basic Interior Detail is $150, the Premium Interior Detail is $200, and The Works — interior, exterior, wax, headlights and engine bay — is $300. An exterior wash can be added to any interior package for $50, and large SUVs and trucks are $30 more.

What's the difference between a car wash and a detail? A wash cleans the surface. A detail is a deep restoration: multi-stage vacuuming, stain extraction, steam disinfection, odor treatment and paint protection. A wash takes minutes; a full detail takes hours.

Do you come to apartments and office parking lots? Yes. We work at driveways, office lots and apartment parking across the New Orleans area. Mention the parking situation when you book so we can plan for it.

Can I book same-day? Often, yes. We keep slots open for same-day bookings, including evenings and weekends. Call (504) 474-8662 and we'll tell you what's free today.

Do you charge a travel fee? No. The price is the same across our whole service area, from Uptown out to Metairie, Kenner, Gretna, Harvey and Marrero.

What happens if it rains? We reschedule you for the next available slot at no charge. We'd rather do the job properly than rush it in bad weather.

How long does a mobile detail take? About an hour and a half for most vehicles. We work on site, so you don't need to wait anywhere — carry on with your day and we'll let you know when it's done.

Do I need to provide water and power? Yes. We need access to an outdoor water spigot and a standard power outlet near where the car is parked. Most driveways and houses have both. If you're in an apartment or office lot, check before booking — or call us and we'll help you work out whether the spot will work.

How often should I detail my car? A garage-kept daily driver does well with a full interior detail two or three times a year. A car parked on the street, or one that carries kids or pets, benefits from a quarterly cadence — New Orleans humidity and tree debris accelerate everything.

Do you offer mobile detailing in Uptown specifically? Yes — Uptown is home. We're based on Webster Street and cover the whole neighbourhood along with the Garden District and Carrollton.
